Intercultural Sensitivity and Diversity Training

Given our diverse workforce representing over 85 nationalities as of 2023, we recognize the importance of equipping our leaders with the skills to effectively manage cross-cultural teams. As part of our leadership development program, we offer intercultural sensitivity training, empowering leaders to enhance their cultural literacy. This training encourages reflection on one's cultural perspective while fostering strategies for supporting intercultural collaboration.

Data-Driven Insights from Our Employees

At Flix, we pride ourselves on our data-driven approach, and our commitment to DEIB is no exception. We supplement our HR system's transactional data with information obtained through our Monthly Pulse surveys. By gathering data from various sources, we gain valuable insights into our areas of strength and areas where improvement is needed. Continuously collecting data is crucial to our DEIB roadmap, ensuring we remain on the right track towards nurturing a diverse and inclusive environment.

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

ERGs are voluntary-led identity groups that amplify the voices of underrepresented communities in the workplace. Kicking off in 2022 with our first ERG, we're excited to develop new ERGs with different areas of focus in 2023. We believe these groups offer a fundamental avenue to foster inclusion at Flix - whether it be through hosting talks and events, advocating for improvements within the organization, or simply being a safe space for people to reach out to.

DiversiFlix

Founded in 2022, the ERG was established by members of our LGBTQIA+ community and allies. Its purpose is to promote and uphold a secure, welcoming, and fair workplace for all employees. DiversiFlix strives to cultivate an atmosphere that fosters productivity, companionship, well-being, and respect, while also working towards the shared objective of making a significant impact on clients.

 

In 2023, DiversiFlix's initiatives include:

- Assigning gender-neutral bathrooms in our offices
- Participating in Munich's Christopher Street Day parade
- Promoting visibility of personal pronouns in email signatures and company tools
- Ensuring diversity in our marketing campaigns
